De Amerikaanse nu-metalband Korn heeft wereldwijd 40 miljoen platen verkocht, meerdere wereldwijde tours gedaan en geholpen nu-metal in de mainstream te brengen. De band werd opgericht in 1993 en bracht het jaar daarop een titelloos debuutalbum uit. Hoewel Korn werd beschouwd als een baanbrekend project in zijn genre, was het hun tweede album, Life Is Peachy, dat de band hun doorbraak naar de mainstream bezorgde. Sindsdien heeft de band in totaal 14 studioalbums uitgebracht, waarvan Requiem in februari 2022 verschijnt. Ze hebben ook twee Grammy Awards gewonnen en worden nog steeds geprezen om hun inventieve visuals en videoclips. In 2023 kondigde de band aan dat ze aan nieuwe muziek werkten, wat hintte op een mogelijke releasedatum voor hun volgende album in 2024.
